How Full Playlist works
Who it's for
- 🎤 Artists and managers: track your numbers, share your wins in stories and find out which countries you're growing in.
- 🏷️ Labels and A&R: spot breakouts before the competition with the Radar and Shazam signals.
- 📻 Radio, DJs and curators: playlists built on data that changes every day.
- 📰 Media: the #1 in every country and platform, ready to quote.
Sources
Where the data comes from
YouTube Charts (charts.youtube.com)
Daily / weeklyOfficial charts for 68 countries + global: top songs, top videos (daily and weekly), top artists, most-used songs on Shorts and official trending.
YouTube Trending (via kworb.net)
Several times a dayTrending videos in 96 countries (overall and music), a worldwide ranking by reach, local phenomena and the most viewed in 24 hours.
kworb.net
Several times a daySpotify charts in 75 countries (daily and weekly), monthly listeners, all-time streams by artist and song, Apple Music, iTunes, Shazam, Deezer, YouTube and radio.
Spotify (public pages and embeds)
DailyCover art, artist photos, release dates, each cover's color, 30-second previews and editorial playlists.
Deezer (public API)
Real timeBackup covers and previews for songs that only appear on other platforms.
YouTube (public thumbnails)
HourlyImages of the most-viewed videos.
On top of that, every hour we save a snapshot of YouTube trending in 96 countries: that's how we can show how many days each video has been trending and its journey, something no public source offers.
We cache every source (between 15 minutes and 1 day depending on the type of data) so the site is fast and we don't overload anyone. When a source updates, Full Playlist updates on its own.
Methodology
FP Index
It adds up each song's position on 7 worldwide charts (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Shazam, Deezer, US radio and iTunes), weighted by their real share of consumption. Songs are matched across platforms by normalizing artist and title. See weights and formula →
Radar
Every day we cross the Spotify charts of 75 countries. A song gains momentum for every country where it debuts (+2), re-enters (+1), jumps more than 20 spots (+1) or 50 spots (+1.5), grows in streams versus the day before (up to +2) or over the last week (up to +1.8), or has been on the chart for less than a week (+0.8), plus a bonus for its position. A jump in spots without more streams counts half, and each country counts according to its size. The total goes on a fixed 0–100 scale: an 80 today means the same as an 80 tomorrow. If it's already in the global Top 30, its score goes down: the Radar looks for what hasn't blown up yet. Each song gets a label: New release (out 30 days or less), Emerging (between a month and a year) or Resurging (over a year old and climbing again). We save a daily snapshot of the charts and of what the Radar flags, to measure how many calls come true.
Privacy
We measure site usage with our own anonymous tool: approximate country and city, device type, where you came from, which pages you viewed, for how long and what you searched for. We don't store your IP, your name or any personal data: each browser is just a random number. If your browser has “Do Not Track” (or Global Privacy Control) turned on, we don't measure anything.
