FP Index

No single platform tells the whole story. The FP Index adds up each song's position on 7 global charts, weighted by each platform's clout in the industry, to show what's really hitting around the world today.

Methodology

How is it calculated?

For each global chart, a song earns points based on its position: #1 gets 100% of that platform's weight and the last spot almost nothing. Then all platforms are added together. Songs are matched by normalized artist and title (no accents, no “feat.”, versions or remixes).
